Yes,it is a very good and top ranking college of West Bengal so if you are willing to take admission in IEM ,then it will be really beneficial for you.IEM is good and known for its engineering courses but if you are thinking of doing BBA from here then it is not that much good.

The placement of IEM is brilliant and if you work hard you will definitely get a good job.

But let me tell you one more thing that IEM is like a school rather than college.That means they are very strict regarding discipline so if you want to enjoy your college life then dont take admission in IEM as you will get depressed by seeing its discipline .A few rules are written below.

1.You have to come on time and if you get late by even 1 or 2 minutes they will not allow you in college.

2.There will be morning assembly like that of school.

3.No interaction will be there with seniors.

4.You will be punished if you do some small mistakes .

5.You cant bunk college and you have to stay in college from morning till end as they will not allow you to come out of the campus with bag ,you can come out without bag.

6.Uniform is a must in IEM ,and without proper uniform they will not allow you in college.

7.The campus is completely ragging free and IEM is very strict regarding that.

The fees for BTech is 5.3lac for 4 years and fees for BBA is 3.2lac for 3 years
