When will India become a superpower?

 Can India Become A Superpower?

India is growing at a rapid pace both economically and militarily , but its far behind from becoming a superpower. In the 1970s and 80s India and China’s GDP were very much similar but after that China opened its economy  and has shown rapid growth on the other hand India opened its economy very late and also the economic policies of India were not that much good like that of China. So China was able to attract more foreign companies than India and thatlet to the rapid growth of China.

India is still a potential superpower , if the economic policies of India are changed in order to attract companies to manufacture in India. Another big hurdle for India to become a superpower is its military , as Indian military is only restricted to its boundaries and not able to flex muscle or show presence in the foreign lands. In order to become a superpower India have to expand its military presence   beyond its borders. In the future cyber security  is going to be a key factor for all the countries in this world , so India need to focus on that also.

In the space research India has done very good but in order to compete with NASA and other major space organisation it need to invest more in the space research field. In order to become a superpower India should have a stronghold on the space technology and research.

India has a very long way to go to become a superpower, so we need to wait and see if it can become a superpower.
