Whatsapp Banned Over 22 Lakh Indian Account
Whatsapp
which is a big messaging application and has billions of users worldwide has
recently release its user safety monthly report, in which it is stated that
whatsapp has banned over 22 lakh accounts of Indian users in the month of June
2022. Those users who either violated whatsapp’s terms of services or the
Indian laws, their account has been banned.
Whatsapp
banned these 22 lakh accounts after receiving complaints from its users against
these accounts. These accounts were banned from the time span of 1st
June to 30th June 2022. Whatsapp spokesperson said that whatsapp doesn’t
tolerate any kind of abuse or violation of its policies. Whatsapp has invested
a lot in artificial intelligence and data scientist to keep the messaging
platform safe and flag illegal activities. Whatsapp gets knowledge about any
abuse on its platform either through its own AI system or by the reports from
various users.
Whatsapp is
very strict regarding its terms and policies and it will ban any users account
without any prior warning if they suspect that the user is violating the terms
and conditions of whatsapp. If any users account is banned from whatsapp then
that user would not be able to open any other whatsapp account from that particular
mobile number.
