Biotechnology engineering is not very much common among engineering streams.So many people have queries about Biotechnology engineering.

So today I am going to tell you about biotechnology engineering,subjects important to study biotechnology engineering and its job perspective.

Biotechnology engineering basically deals with technology which are related to Biology and microbiology ,for example = increasing production of milk by gene recombination is the gift of biotechnology engineering.

Biotechnology engineering is not like other engineering courses where practical work is more important instead it consists of more theoretical knowledge and very less practical work.

One have to be extremely good in studies in order to pursue biotechnology engineering.

And it is in no terms easy as compared to other engineering courses .If you think  that it is easy and you will not have to study much then you are completely wrong.Getting a B.Tech degree in biotechnology engineering is really tough and you have to put immense hard work in order to succeed in this field.

Many people also have the myth that the bulk of biotechnology engineering course consist of biology as the name suggest but my dear friend it is not like that .you have to be good in   chemistry  and maths if you want to pursue this degree.Many people have fear of chemistry and maths so they want to take biotechnology engineering ,but most of the course depends on the principles of chemistry and a little bit biology .

Also you have to study maths ,yes you heard it right as it is a engineering course so maths is compulsory and you have to study it especially in the first year maths will be surely there.So if you like chemistry,biology and have basic knowledge of maths and if you are average in maths then you can surely go for biotechnology engineering .you will not face any problem.

Job Perspective 

Now lets talk about the job perspective of this course.Let me be frank with you the job perspective of Biotechnology is not so good in India and it is the harsh reality as number of jobs are very less and number of students is very high but in abroad there is a huge scope and job oppurtunity for biotechnology engineers.So my intention is not to demotivate you.

If you are passionate about it then go for it follow your passion and you will secceed but remember you have to be excellent in this field in order to beat your competition so .

If you you have passion for this course then nothing matters it will be the best course for you .wish you all the best.

Course Fee

The course fee can vary from college to college but the range is between 1.5lac to 8lac/annum.It depends upon the college which you choose.
