Possible Squad of Kolkata Knight Riders In Ipl 2023

The Kolkata knight riders are now out of IPL 2022 playoffs. There are plenty of reasons for bad performance of kkr team. First of all the retained players didn’t did well in this year IPL. Their explosive opener batsman Venkatesh Iyer’s form was a big problem for kkr, although venkatesh Iyer was retained by KKR but he didn’t perform well this season. Also their mystery spinner Varun Chakarvarty didn’t perform in this year IPL so lots of problems were there for KKR this season which they would like to rectify in the next year IPL. So Here are some possible players which KKR can target in next years mini auction.

Jason Roy: In next year’s IPL auction KKR can target this explosive opener batsman of England. As this year KKR struggled a lot because of their openers so they would like to buy this explosive batsman.

Alex Hales : Alex Hales is another explosive opening batsman which KKR would like to target in next year IPL auction

Steve Smith: Steve Smith is another Batsman which KKR can buy next year. For bad form and performance of Steve Smith went unsold in this year auction but for his experience in IPL KKR may pick him in auction.

Ben Stokes: Ben stokes is an English all rounder whom KKR may target in next year auction as an alternative for Andre Russell, if Russell gets injured then Ben Stokes maybe a great option.

KS Bharat: KKR can target KS Bharat in next IPL auction as they need a good wicketkeeper Batsman.

In this years IPL wicketkeeper was a matter of concern for KKR so they can definitely go for him.

Eoin Morgan: KKR can go after Eoin Morgan as Eoin Morgan is a world cup winning captain and also a good batsman. He also took KKR to IPL finals last year.

These were some of the players which KKR might target.

The players who might be released from the squad are Aaron Finch, Sivam Mavi ,Venkatesh Iyer, Varun Chakravarty, Baba Indrajith, Abhijeet Tomar, Pat cummins, Sam curran and Sheldon Jackson.

The remaining players can be retained.
