What is CA(Continous Assesment) in MAKAUT university?
Those who
study in MAKAUT university or has just taken admission in MAKAUT university in
first year, you might have a question in mind that what is CA and what is its
importance. So in this article we will discuss about CA and what is its
significance we will also discuss that is it important to appear in CA or what
will happen if someone does not appear for CA.
So CA stands
for continuous assessment, it is a series of tests which are taken in each
semester by the respective colleges and the marks obtained by the students are
uploaded in the MAKAUT portal. The marks in CAs are awarded by the college and
thus university does not have any role in it, the marks are only uploaded to
the university portal.
Importance of CA:
In total 4
CAs are conducted in every semester, each CA consists of 25 marks, The marks of
theory papers is of 100 marks, out of which 70 marks are allotted for semester
exam and 25 is taken from CAs and the remaining 5 marks is for attendance. So
CA is very important for your overall CGPA.
What if someone doesn’t appear for
any of the CA:
It is
clearly instructed by the MAKAUT university that a student have to appear for
atleast two of the CAs, if a student
fails to do so then he might not be able to appear for the semester exam. I
would suggest you to appear for all the four CAs as it is very important for
you CGPA, also I would suggest you to not take the CA exams very lightly, as
many student thinks that CA exams are internal
exams conducted by the college hence no need to appear for it, so don’t do
this mistake as not appearing in CA can effect your grade point, also it is
very easy to score marks in CA as compared to the 70 marks exam conducted by
the university, so those who want to pass the exam, CA can be very helpful for
them.
