graduation every student used to have this question in mind that what to do
next? After graduation many students get confused between IBPS PO and CAT. They
couldn’t figure out which one is better or good for them.
So in this
article we will talk about this thing. But before that let us know that what is
CAT and what is IBPS PO.
Common Aptitude Test (CAT):
CAT is an
exam which is conducted by the IIMs for admission
in MBA programs in IIMs. The test consists of 64-66 questions and the questions
will be divided in three sections Quant, verbal and DILR. For each correct
question 3 marks is awarded and for wrong answer 1 marks is deducted.
IBPS PO:
It is an
exam conducted by the Institute of banking personal selection (IBPS) for recruitment
in the post of probationary officer. The job is given in various public sector
banks in India. In IBPS PO there are 100 questions in total and for each
correct answer 1 marks is awarded and for each wrong answer 0.5 marks is
deducted.
Now let us
talk about which one is better IBPS PO or CAT
CAT:
CAT is an
exam for admission in MBA program in IIMs and the person who qualifies it have
to do a two years MBA course and after that he will get a job. Also the job is
in various reputed private companies, so there is no job security, The salary
offered after MBA from IIMS are huge they ranges from 5 lakh per annum to even
1-2 crore per annum, so from salary perspective cat beats IBPS PO. The
difficulty level of CAT is very high as compared to the difficulty level of
IBPS PO.
IBPS PO:
In case of
IBPS PO once you crack the exam you will
get a job and no need to do any further studies. The job is also secure and the
salary offered is somewhere around 6-7 lakhs per annum. The difficulty level of
IBPS PO is comparatively lower than CAT.
