 Pakistani Army Asked Economic Help From USA

Recently Pakistani army has asked US for help in getting loans from IMF. Pakistan’s economy is in a very fragile condition and it is deteriorating more and more day by day, inflation has gone to record high and Pakistani Rupee has hit record low to Rs 207 against one US dollar.

To manage its economy and save it from the disaster, the Pakistani army called for help from the US. The external debt on Pakistan is 250 billion dollar which is a huge amount and it is very much dangerous for the economy of Pakistan.

The Ukraine war has also contributed to the economic downfall of Pakistan, as the prices of fuel went up, the cost of goods also went up and let to a very high rate of inflation. China has not come to help of Pakistan in this economic crisis and the last option that remained for Pakistan was asking the IMF for some loans.

In the year 2019 IMF said that it will do a 39 month program with Pakistan under which IMF will give 6 billion dollar to Pakistan, but due to instability in the government of Pakistan, the government of Pakistan is not accepting all the conditions of IMF, due to this IMF has not released the loans to Pakistan. So now the army chief of Pakistan has requested USA to ask IMF to release the loan for Pakistan. As the Pakistani army holds a lot of power in Pakistan, they now jumped into the matter and asked USA directly to release the loans.
