MAKAUT practical evaluation process
Many of you
may have a doubt that how MAKAUT evaluates the practical marks and what is the
total procedure, earlier we have discussed about the evaluation process of
MAKAUT of theory subjects so in this article we will discuss about the
evaluation process of MAKAUT practical.
So the
practical marks are calculated out of 100 in every practical subject, out of
which 40 marks is allotted by the respective colleges by internal assessment
and 60 marks is allotted by the college by final practical exam, so the marks
division is 40 and 60. The practical marks is completely dependent on the
college and thus university does not have any role in it. For allotment of 40
marks out of 100 colleges conduct in total two internal assessment for
practical which are termed as PCA 1 and PCA
2 which stands for practical continuous assessment 1 and 2. Out of these
two marks, MAKAUT takes the best marks in each practical subject for
evaluation, for example if in any subject you got 34 in PCA 1 and 36 in PCA 2,
then the best will be taken that is 36 will be taken. Now for the remaining 60
marks, the college will take a semester practical exam which consist of lab
copy, VIVA, attendance and performance in exam. So based on your performance in
all these parameters the 60 marks will be allotted. So in total the evaluation
is done out of 100 marks.
